I’m Jeffrey Gosda, the founder of Linguae Academy, and a lifelong passion for language, culture, and personal growth has shaped my journey in education. I graduated from New College, University of Oxford, where I studied law and developed a deep appreciation for academic rigor and intellectual expression. I also hold a degree in Psychology and am currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. These skills hone my natural abilities of compassion and empathy, along with patience and understanding, which are key elements in helping others gain knowledge in communication in a foreign language.

I am also TEFL-certified and well-versed not only in teaching English as a foreign language but also in how we learn a language.

Before founding Linguae Academy, I spent more than 17 years in senior leadership roles within the medical and corporate sectors, overseeing operations, quality, and professional development. My experience leading international teams taught me the value of clear, confident communication — skills I now help my students master in English.

Having lived in France, the UK, and multiple countries around the world, I understand what it means to adapt across languages and cultures. This global perspective shapes my approach to teaching: combining intellectual depth with practical fluency.
